    I studied symmetry and
    geometric patterns as
    visual mathematics,

Holly Gates for LDT landscapes

 HOLLY GATES
The Holly Gates in French blue and black for fields and gardens in Jaffrey NH are inspired by Christo Gates and matching flags seen on a garden tour un UK. Flag-model-blog04

I tailored 7 flags, 4 French blue and 3 black, each with 50 pieces. Until spring, installed in a foyer next to George by Clark. Holly Gates will fly on a slope toward Mt. Monadnock. The model shows flags as they will fly on a hillside. The real flags are 7 feet high, designed to fly on 11 foot poles with another 3 feet of the poles underground.
